Overview
BuyVM is a budget VPS brand operated by Frantech Solutions (Canada), active since 2010. It sells a small catalog of OpenVZ, KVM, and storage-oriented VPS plans, often released in limited batches rather than always-on inventory. Notable add-ons include the in-house Stallion control panel, optional DDoS mitigation, and Anycast DNS. Infrastructure has historically been associated with Las Vegas and Luxembourg locations. The brand is widely discussed in low-end hosting communities for aggressive pricing and periodic restocks.

BuyVM VPS Price Adjustments Take Effect July 1
3 months ago
BuyVM raised VPS prices effective July 1, 2026, citing 15%+ data center and bandwidth cost increases over the past six months. Existing customers see modest renewal increases (e.g., 1GB KVM Slice from $3.50 to $4.50), while new orders use higher list prices. Add-ons such as DDoS-protected IPs remain unchanged.

I have been using this hosting provider's services for some time now, and my overall impressions are positive. The process of ordering a virtual server and its subsequent activation happens without any delays. The performance level of the servers is consistently high, which is crucial for the smooth operation of my projects. The control panel is intuitive and easy to navigate. I would specifically like to mention the technical support: the specialists respond promptly, are truly knowledgeable in technical matters, and provide great help with configurations. The wide range of locations and flexible tariff plans make it easy to find the right solution for specific needs. The service is reliable, and the pricing policy is well-justified for the quality provided
