CloudCone St. Louis VPS Reported Offline 4 Days, Support Sends Wrong Datacenter Templates

A LowEndTalk user reports a CloudCone VPS in the new St. Louis DC1 location has been offline for about four days with a dead VNC console and a panel reboot loop. Support allegedly replied with Los Angeles migration alert templates, suggested a full rebuild instead of backend recovery, and took up to 18 hours per response. The user is requesting hypervisor-level intervention to recover data without wiping the disk.

CloudCone Announces Los Angeles Budget VPS Migration, Downtime Expected

CloudCone will relocate its Los Angeles (LA) Budget VPS infrastructure — approximately 200+ server nodes and associated hardware — to a new data center facility. Downtime is expected: power-off begins around 05:00 PM PST and physical unracking around 05:30 PM PST on Wednesday, July 7, 2026.

CloudCone Announces IPv4 Address Change for Los Angeles Servers

CloudCone has sent a notification to users in its Los Angeles datacenters regarding a required IPv4 address migration. Customers can either automatically configure the new IP through the control panel or manually update their server settings. Both old and new IPv4 addresses will temporarily work at the same time, but the old IP will be removed 48 hours after the migration is confirmed. Users may also need to update DNS records, websites, SSH access, and other services relying on the previous IP address.

Sservers are experiencing widespread outages.

Starting at 6:00 AM, all machines in the Los Angeles area went offline, and users were unable to access the service control panel on the CC website. Many users began to worry whether their data would ultimately be recoverable. CloudCone has not yet released an official statement.
