Hostinger Finishes Node.js Security Rollout on Managed Hosting Products

Hostinger has completed rolling out Node.js security updates (24.22.1 and 22.23.4) across managed hosting products, and says fixes for Node.js 18 and 20 were also backported to Web Hosting, Cloud Hosting, and cPanel. No action is required for Agency Hosting, AI Builder, Web Hosting, Cloud Hosting, or cPanel Node.js applications. VPS customers who manage Node.js themselves should apply updates on their own instances.
Hostinger Completes Managed Hosting PHP Patches and Addresses New CVE-2026-115560

Hostinger reports PHP upgrades are complete across managed hosting servers for the earlier php2shell flaws, and says Web Hosting, Agency Hosting, and cPanel plans are already protected against newly disclosed CVE-2026-115560 by mitigations applied on October 21. No action is required for those managed plans; the regular PHP update will follow in normal maintenance. VPS customers who manage PHP themselves are advised to set session.upload_progress.enabled=0 in php.ini and restart PHP if they have not already done so after the October 21 advisory.
Hostinger Restores Dashboard, hPanel and Service API After Google Cloud Outage

Hostinger has resolved the incident that left its Dashboard and service API partially unavailable after a Google Cloud outage. A fix was pushed at about 22:37 on October 20 (Asia/Shanghai), and the incident was marked resolved at 22:40, with the Dashboard, API and hPanel working as expected. Websites hosted with Hostinger were not affected during the incident.

Since 06:19 UTC on October 20 (14:19 Beijing time), Hostinger Dashboard and its service API have been unavailable or failing to load for some users. Hostinger says the cause is a network outage at its third-party cloud provider, Google Cloud, which Google attributed to a power failure at one of its data centers. During the outage, Website Builder, the Kodee assistant and checkout were also unavailable. Websites hosted with Hostinger are not affected and continue to work normally. As of the latest update, the incident is in monitoring: the dashboard and API are not fully available yet, some users still cannot log in, and hosting plans and their settings cannot be managed for now.
Hostinger Completes CVE-2026-99999 Patching on All VPS Hosts

Hostinger has closed its VPS emergency maintenance for CVE-2026-99999. The patch reached all VPS host nodes by 02:31 UTC on October 18 (10:31 Beijing time), and after a monitoring period the incident was marked resolved at 07:44 UTC (15:44 Beijing time), with services operating normally. Each VPS was briefly restarted during the work. Hostinger asks customers to start any application that did not come back on its own and to make sure it is set to start automatically on boot.
Hostinger Begins Emergency Patching of All VPS Hosts for CVE-2026-99999

Hostinger has started emergency maintenance to patch CVE-2026-99999, a critical Linux kernel vulnerability (CVSS 9.3) disclosed on October 15 that affects the host systems behind all Hostinger VPS plans. Fixes are being deployed across the entire server fleet in batches as they become available, and each customer VPS will restart at least once. Hostinger says it will keep each interruption as brief as possible. The Hostinger VPS API is currently marked as under maintenance.
Hostinger: Kodee AI Resolves 91% of VPS Support Cases Autonomously

After integrating Model Context Protocol (MCP) and moving into the VPS terminal in April 2026, Hostinger reports that Kodee autonomously resolved 91% of VPS conversations with recorded outcomes across 914,000+ sessions. VPS retention rose from 66% to 70%, with conversation length dropping up to 78% for configuration tasks.
