V.PS Schedules Urgent KVM Security Maintenance for CVE-2026-53359

V.PS will patch affected host nodes for CVE-2026-53359 ("Januscape"), a Linux KVM hypervisor vulnerability, on July 7, 2026 from 16:00–16:30 CEST. Host kernel updates require reboots; individual VPS instances may see approximately 10–30 minutes of downtime. Customer data, disks, network settings and IP addresses will not change.

V.PS Upgrades Tokyo Performance Gen 2 with China Mobile CMIN2

has officially deployed China Mobile International CMIN2 (N2) for its Tokyo Performance Gen 2 series, replacing the previous CMI routing. China Telecom continues to use CN2 GIA, China Unicom remains on AS9929, while China Mobile traffic is now upgraded to bidirectional CMIN2. The upgrade is expected to significantly improve speed, stability, and cross-network performance for mainland China users, especially China Mobile customers accessing the Tokyo node.
