RackNerd to upgrade VPS control panel and related infrastructure
1 month ago
RackNerd plans maintenance on September 22, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM Pacific Time (16:00–20:00 UTC) to upgrade the software behind the VPS control panel at nerdvm.racknerd.com and supporting hardware. During the window, nerdvm.racknerd.com will be unavailable, and the Client Area may be intermittently reachable. Customer VPS services are expected to stay online, with no impact to websites, applications, SSH, or other services on the server. Panel actions such as reboot/power cycle, OS reinstall, and other VPS settings will be unavailable while the panel is down; if SSH still works, customers can manage the server from inside the OS. Support during maintenance will be by email at [email protected]. No customer action is required. RackNerd will update its status page and X (@racknerd) during the work.

I have been using this hosting provider's services for some time now, and my overall impressions are positive. The process of ordering a virtual server and its subsequent activation happens without any delays. The performance level of the servers is consistently high, which is crucial for the smooth operation of my projects. The control panel is intuitive and easy to navigate. I would specifically like to mention the technical support: the specialists respond promptly, are truly knowledgeable in technical matters, and provide great help with configurations. The wide range of locations and flexible tariff plans make it easy to find the right solution for specific needs. The service is reliable, and the pricing policy is well-justified for the quality provided
