The Ashburn facility has resumed ongoing electrical maintenance. Multiple host nodes are currently inaccessible while additional work is performed on the power delivery system, including ASH122KVM, ASH127KVM, ASH131KVM, ASH133KVM, ASH135KVM, ASH129KVM, ASH138KVM, ASH124KVM, ASH128KVM, ASH137KVM, 7950XASH104, ASH115KVM, ASH116KVM, 7950XASH101, ASH105KVM, ASH110KVM, ASH112KVM, ASH117KVM, 7950XASH100, 7950XASH106, ASH102KVM, ASH104KVM, and ASH101KVM. Other datacenter locations are not affected. The provider is coordinating with the on-site team and will restore services once power is available.
RackNerd Restores Ashburn Nodes After Facility Power Outage, Warns of Further Maintenance Downtime

RackNerd reports that all Ashburn nodes affected by the facility-level power issue that began on the evening of October 6, Beijing time, are back online, and service has been restored. The outage hit more than 20 KVM and 7950X nodes and lasted roughly 13 to 14 hours. The datacenter provider says electrical work on the facility's power delivery system will continue for the rest of the week. The same infrastructure is expected to lose power again starting 7:00 AM ET on October 7 (19:00 Beijing time), possibly for much of the day, with no confirmed restoration time. More electrical work is planned later this week. RackNerd recommends that customers who need continuity open a support ticket to request a free migration to another location such as New York or Los Angeles before the next interruption. Migrating changes the VPS IP address. Other RackNerd locations are not affected. RackNerd says it will share the facility's RFO and details on credits once the work is concluded.

RackNerd reports that 11 nodes in its Ashburn datacenter are experiencing connectivity issues: ASH101KVM, ASH102KVM, ASH104KVM, ASH105KVM, ASH110KVM, ASH112KVM, ASH117KVM, 7950XASH100, 7950XASH101, 7950XASH104 and 7950XASH106. The incident was opened at 19:33 Beijing time on October 6 and the Ashburn datacenter is marked as a partial outage. The team is still investigating and has not yet given a cause or an estimated recovery time; further updates will follow.

Remote troubleshooting and recovery attempts were unsuccessful, so on-site facility technicians were engaged to physically inspect and bench the server; resolution was expected within about 24 hours.
